May I be the first to wish you Happy Spring!
I know the calendar hasn’t officially rung Spring, but since we’ve had the warmest winter in the history of weather and I’ve been looking at budding trees and flowers for WEEKS now, it is time. (One of the true perks of living in NC!)
My dining room wall has a huge empty frame that you may remember from my Christmas Ornament Wall Art post. Starting with that frame, I added the pink wreaths from my Valentine’s Mantel to turn it into something Spring-y.
At Target I found S-p-r-i-n-g letter blocks for $2.50. So putting it all together, here’s my little touch of Spring whimsy.
At the center of the dining room table are my favorite faux blooms from Pier 1 about three years ago (but they still sell them).
I like the vibrance of the pinks in contrast with the gray walls.
How’s that for a $2.50 cheap-o project? Here’s to Spring y’all…

What color is the paint on the walls in your dining room? I am looking for some nice grays to paint our bedroom.
Hi Jackie, the color is Serious Gray by Sherwin Williams, but it does skew to a smoky blue/gray on the wall.
Here’s the link to the color:

If you want a pure gray, I’d go more in the direction of Sherwin Williams Amazing Gray which takes out the blue tones. Thanks for your note!
