The nursery was a serene and calm room, painted in a quiet gray with a wish for a gentle, sleep-through-the-night babyhood. It mostly happened that way, but I don’t know if we can quite credit the paint color.
You’ll remember it looked like this and we blogged about it here.
Well, a few years passed and we moved the (mostly) precious big boy to a room next to his brother’s, leaving this space open for a guest room redo which we blogged about here.
It was a colorful, happy room.
Well this year I wanted the room to accommodate not just guests a few times a year but a small work space for use throughout the year. We added plantation shutters, used Sherwin-Williams’ Peppercorn gray as a deep accents on the bed and the far wall, and added a desk and feminine chandelier.
Here are a few pictures of the room I’m now planning to keep exactly like this for a long, long time.
