Perfect Pitcher

A recent Goodwill outing turned up a white pitcher that I immediately claimed for a tulip vase. (I’m sure it will be used for other types of flowers but I always envision tulips spilling from the top of a container like this.)

It has clean simple lines and a farmhouse-inspired shape.

It was $2.50.

Best of all, I didn’t have to do anything but wash it.

Barenjager Turned Bud (Vase)

It all started with this and my 31st birthday:

The morning after a house full of partiers had successfully emptied the bottle, I removed the sleeve and found the most lovely shape underneath. I salvaged it from the recycling bin and put it to use as my now-favorite stem vase. I love that the neck is only wide enough for two stems which emphasizes the sleek shapes of the vase and the bloom.

LOVE that the sun spot in my kitchen window lights up the bloom

What beverage bottles have ended up on your vase shelf?
